What is Reiki?
Reiki pronounced means Universal Life Energy; it is a system of natural healing that was developed by Dr Mikao Usui. There is no belief system, so anyone may use or receive it. During a Reiki session you will lie on a massage table, fully clothed and warmly covered in blankets, supported by pillows, while your practitioner places their hands on the body until they feel a balanced flow of energy in that position.
The Usui/Tibetan Reiki and Karuna® Reiki System
Developed by Arthur Robertson and later popularised by William Lee Rand. Karuna Reiki®
is a Sanskrit word that means compassionate action that is thought to be a deeper treatment.

Carol started training in 1999 and after 6 years of professional training qualified as an Usui Reiki Master in 2005. After a further 2 years of training she qualified as a Karuna Reiki Master® Teacher in 2007.
