Overview

Reiki is a gentle, holistic complementary therapy that supports relaxation and overall wellbeing. During a Reiki session, the practitioner works with energy to support balance and calm, allowing the body’s natural processes to settle and reset.

Reiki is non-invasive, deeply relaxing, and suitable for people at all stages of life. It is commonly used alongside other forms of self-care or therapeutic support.

Reiki is not a replacement for medical treatment, but may be a supportive option for those seeking balance, clarity, and a sense of calm.

When to see a Reiki Practitioner

Reiki may be right for you if you are looking for a calm, supportive space to relax, unwind, and reconnect with yourself. Many people are drawn to Reiki during times of stress, emotional overwhelm, transition, or when they simply feel the need to pause and reset.

You do not need to have any prior experience with Reiki, energy work, or holistic therapies. Reiki is suitable for people at all stages of life and can be received alongside other forms of support or self-care.

Reiki is not a replacement for medical care, but it can be a supportive complementary therapy for those seeking balance, clarity, and a sense of calm. If you’re feeling curious, open, or simply in need of some quiet space for yourself, Reiki may be a helpful place to start.

What you can expect

Reiki is accessible to everyone, including how sessions are delivered. Here at the clinic, sessions take place in person.

During a session, you can choose to sit in a chair or lie down on a treatment couch, whichever feels most comfortable. Soft music can be played if desired, and each session is tailored to what feels right for you on the day.

Reiki can be offered using either a “hands-on” or “hands-off” approach. Physical contact is never required, and you remain fully clothed throughout. Sessions typically last around one hour.

Reiki is a gentle, supportive therapy that offers space to rest, rebalance, and reconnect.

Our Approach

Our approach to Reiki is calm, client-led, and adaptable. Each session is guided by the individual needs of the client, both through conversation and the flow of the session itself.

We aim to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where you can slow down and take time for yourself, without pressure or expectation. Reiki is non-religious and open to all, and sessions are adapted to what feels most comfortable and appropriate for you.
