My favourite thing about being a Counsellor

The best part of my work is helping to make a positive difference to people’s lives. This can take many forms, but I strongly believe that, while we all need support sometimes, the tools, techniques and insights of therapy can be learned and applied by anyone. Empowering people to help themselves is the most satisfying part of my job.

Approach

One size does not fit all. We all have different experiences, stories and needs. Over the years I have developed a client-centred approach to therapy that is grounded in an appreciation of the value different psychological approaches have to offer. My speciality is helping clients to understand, manage and eliminate stress in all its forms.
